Our dear mascot, Nino, which symbolizes a ring-tailed coati, was visiting the Helen Keller Special State High School and on Sunday he was present at the pavilions of the 33rd National Grape Festival.
Her first appearance took place at the Helen Keller Municipal School, where she helped publicize the Deaflympics. The school is known for being the only educational institution for the deaf in Caxias do Sul, where students from Farroupilha, Bento Gonçalves, Caxias do Sul and other neighboring cities study.
His second visit took place on Sunday (20/02) in the pavilions of the 33rd National Grape Festival, where he promoted the 24th Deaflympics and drew children and adults.
The National Grape Festival takes place every 2 years in Caxias do Sul and is one of the largest of these cultural events in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
Nino is the official mascot of the 24th Deaflympics, which takes place between May 1st and 15th, 2022.
